More than 70-percent of American voters – including many Hoosiers – approve of the Rescue Plan. This also includes about 47-percent of Republicans, ensuring the COVID-19 stimulus package has bipartisan support.
With this kind of support from Hoosier voters, it is essential for Democrats and supporters of President Joe Biden to celebrate the American Rescue Plan at every opportunity.

#1: Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, more than 91-percent of all Hoosier adults received a $1,400 relief check to help make ends meet during the pandemic.
#2: About $5.8 billion was delivered to Indiana and its cities and towns to help our communities recover lost revenue and build better opportunities for our families.
#3: The American Rescue Plan is providing more than $2 billion for Indiana’s schools to update facilities like ventilation systems. It’s also providing hazard pay for some educators.
#4: Starting July 2021, Hoosier families will be able to receive a tax credit of up to $1,600 per child. This will lift up to 80,000 Hoosier kids out of poverty.
#5: Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, Democrats delivered more than $250 million for broadband internet expansion across Indiana. This investment serves as a foundation of the upcoming American Jobs Plan.
