INDIANAPOLIS – Hoosiers across the state woke up this morning to headlines declaring that Rep. Braun and his lazy, underfunded campaign are unwilling or unable to pay attention to them. Five Indiana newspapers carried today on their front pages yesterday’s Associated Press report about the Braun campaign, featuring a number of “underwhelmed” GOP operatives worried that his campaign continues to fall behind Joe Donnelly’s,.
Republicans are clearly concerned about Rep. Braun, who has held fewer than half of the events Joe has since the May primary, even though Rep. Braun is campaigning full time. It seems, as the Indy Star put it in their front page headline, that “Braun draws yawns” – and now nearly every Hoosier who picked up a newspaper today knows it.
