Roll Call: “Indiana Rep. Todd Young, who is running for the Senate, was seen emerging from the club, but he said he was meeting there with friends and wouldn’t acknowledge being at the meeting with Trump.”
INDIANAPOLIS – Congressman Todd Young said this week he wouldn’t attend the U.S. House’s meeting with Donald Trump. However, today’s news reports spotted Congressman Young at the same time and location of the House meeting with the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.
Is Congressman Young applying #YoungsLaw to his meeting with Donald Trump? Young has said he would support the Republican nominee for President – even if it’s presumptive nominee Donald Trump. Or at least that’s what his campaign spokesperson said. But where’s Todd Young on his public support for Trump? Would he support the possible Trump/Pence ticket?

“While he has relied on his flacks to communicate his support for Donald Trump, Todd Young was spotted at the event he denied attending,” said Drew Anderson, communications director. “Why would Congressman Young publicly dodge his meeting with Donald Trump? Does Young think Hoosiers don’t have common sense to know what’s going on? Indiana deserves better than to have Empty Suit Todd Young as their senator. ”
