INDIANAPOLIS – In response to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue’s appearance in Indianapolis today, Indiana Democratic Party Chair John Zody released the following statement.
“Whatever Perdue says today, he can’t spin Trump’s trail of broken promises to Hoosier farmers. This administration has spent nearly three years sparking erratic trade wars and obeying the demands of corporate executives while dismissing the needs of our family farms. We deserve leaders who have our backs — not politicians who leave us hanging after election day.”
