INDIANAPOLIS – On Saturday, the Indiana Democratic Party State Central Committee endorsed Courtney Tritch in her run for Congress in Indiana’s Third Congressional District. Tritch, who launched her campaign in July, brings a formidable experience in economic and community development to the race.
“I’m running to bring Hoosier commonsense to Washington, to grow our economy and grow good-paying jobs,” said Tritch. “I’m grateful for the support and I’m ready to fight so Hoosiers have access to quality health care, great schools and a shot at the American Dream.”
Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody pointed to Tritch’s breadth of experience working to improve Northeast Indiana’s quality of life and small business credentials as reasons for the State Central Committee’s support.
“Courtney has the know-how and experience to jumpstart the Hoosier economy and attract and cultivate good-paying jobs to Indiana’s Third Congressional District,” said Zody. “The State Central Committee and Hoosier Democrats back candidates who are focused on building up Indiana communities, who fight for families, fairness and the future, and that’s exactly the kind of leader Courtney Tritch is.”
The Indiana Democratic Party State Central Committee is made up of 44 elected and appointed members who serve as the governing body for the statewide party organization. More information about Courtney Tritch is available at: www.tritchforcongress.com
