INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement in response to this evening’s rally with President Trump, Vice President Pence and Rep. Mike Braun in Southport:

“Nothing Hoosiers heard tonight distracted them from Rep. Braun’s repeated lies about his support for dismantling health care coverage for the 1.1 million Hoosiers with pre-existing conditions or how he’ll help Mitch McConnell gut their Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Rep. Braun’s problem is simple: after his surrogates leave, all voters will remember in the final days of the campaign is his repeated efforts to take away their health care.”
