INDIANAPOLIS – Drew Anderson, communications director the Indiana Democratic Party, released the following statement after the Tennessee Trey Hollingsworth Campaign told the Indianapolis press corps that they couldn’t ask questions about the recent report highlighting how he may have committed a crime by claiming false residency in multiple states.
“A person has Hoosier values if they are willing to face the music and admit fault when they are found of committing any wrongdoing. Tennessee Trey and his campaign instructed the media not to ask any questions about the new report showing how Trey committed apparent crimes by claiming residency in multiple states – not including Indiana. But this is Tennessee Trey. He has refused to release his tax returns, won’t pay his property taxes, and now won’t take questions from the press…even at his own news conference. That’s not how Hoosiers do it – but then again Tennessee Trey isn’t a Hoosier. So these actions makes sense.”
