Associated Press report found Hoosier taxpayers foot bill for Pence’s campaign staff
INDIANAPOLIS – Today in Danville, will Eric Holcomb call on his boss Mike Pence to pay back Hoosier taxpayers after a news report found that the state currently pays for one of Pence’s campaign staffers?
“Under no circumstances should the state pay the salaries of political operatives, but Mike Pence is forcing taxpayers to foot the bill and pay his staff during his national campaign,” said Drew Anderson, communications director. “Eric Holcomb should call on his boss to use his campaign cash to pay back the Hoosier families who have to work twice as hard to earn wages that fall behind the rest of the nation.”
This is Eric Holcomb’s chance to do the right thing and put hardworking Hoosiers and their tax dollars first. Will he do it?
