- Characterize the Indiana Republican Party’s voting base as having “anger and resentment”,
- Called for a public shaming of Indiana Republicans — like U.S. Senator Mike Braun — who peddled misinformation and “deceived constituents”, and
- Signaled he would back away from his 2016 promise to “put America above ourselves” by voting against impeaching and convicting a former president for inciting an insurrection against the United States.
