INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement after Attorney General Curtis Hill delayed a rule impacting LGBT Hoosiers.

“By blocking a commonsense rule, Curtis Hill is using the power of his official office to advance his extreme political agenda and LGBTQ Hoosiers are once again the target. Governor Holcomb has said, ‘Hoosier hospitality means that all are welcomed and valued in our state’. Words aren’t enough. Holcomb needs to stand up to ensure Indiana is a welcoming place for all Hoosiers. That starts with condemning Hill’s delay tactics publicly.”
