INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement after the Indiana Election Commission failed to expand vote by mail.
“Indiana Republicans’ pigheaded refusal to expand voting by mail, nor offer the least bit of direction to voters, is not just blatantly political, it is dangerous. Eric Holcomb, Connie Lawson and the Indiana GOP have completely abandoned any moral obligation and are cravenly forcing some Hoosiers to choose between their vote and their health. It’s a disgraceful abdication of leadership. The history books will not reflect kindly on their decision to put politics ahead of public health.”
