INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement regarding Indiana’s May 5 primary election.
“Hoosier Democrats have received numerous questions about the upcoming election. We believe the election process must be in the best interest of public health, administratively achievable and lawful. To that end, we believe a primary election conducted largely by mail achieves those aims. We are engaged in a constructive dialogue with our Republican counterparts and those discussions are ongoing.”
