INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement after Dr. Woody Myers announced his intention to seek the Democratic nomination for Indiana governor.

“It’s exciting to see Dr. Myers formally enter the race and we’ll continue to let the process play out as other Hoosier Democrats consider joining the field for governor. We know Eric Holcomb is a special interest’s best friend and isn’t working for Hoosier families. Empty promises like failing to raise teacher pay, lower the cost of health care, or clean up state government, expose Holcomb for what he is: a do-nothing governor.”
