INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Democratic Party Chairman John Zody issued the following statement after Senator Todd Young reversed his 2016 position to hold off on filling a Supreme Court vacancy in a Presidential election year.

“Now we know. Todd Young is just another cynical politician who lacks the backbone to honor his own word to put principles before politics. He’s been swallowed up by the DC swamp, where a Republican’s promise isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.”
